IT Manager - Berkeley, CA

Industry leader in mobile banking technology seeks exceptional IT Manager to manage the infrastructure for our growing distributed company with offices all over the United States. By the tech our techies turn to! 

This is a full-time position in Berkeley, CA.

Duties:

  • Administer corporate MS Exchange
  • Administer corporate Active Directory
  • Corporate backups
  • Manage corporate network and security
  • Support staff of 40 local and remote workers with mix of Windows and OS X
  • Strategic-level and project-level planning as well as performing day-to-day administration

Development Team Lead

 

Industry leader in mobile technology seeks a talented Development Team Lead who is excited about innovating the future of banking. Must love challenging projects, creative solutions, and occasional Nerf gun shootouts.

 

This position is full time in West Jordan, Utah (SLC suburb). Not a remote position.

 

Our ideal candidate is a strong leader in 3 categories:

  • Full Stack Software Development - best if experience mirror our stacks: C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Java. But would not need to address native mobile apps. Solid experience leading developers in best practices, code reviews and following the overall development life cycle is required.
  • Architecture – Knows and can demonstrate depth with principles such as Domain Driven Design
  • Agile (Scrum) discipline – Ability to motivate the team to rigorously follow the process by example, overcome resistance and inevitable pitfalls, and act as scrummaster as may be needed.

 Other requirements:

  • 7+ years development experience
  • 3+ years experience managing distributed development teams
  •  Proven track record of results under pressure
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or technology-related field preferred

 Responsibilities include:

  • Lead a team of on-site and remote developers to achieve aggressive project delivery while maximizing project quality and efficiency
  • Collaborating and coordinating with our other team leads around the world on process/ performance improvements
  • Managing own tasks efficiently and independently

Technical Support Specialist

Industry leader in banking technology seeks talented new grads to join us as a Technical Support Specialist. Must love challenging projects, creative solutions, and dogs in the office.

This position is full time in New York, New York. Not a remote position.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • A BA or BS (engineering or science degree is preferred)
  •  Work or volunteer experience displaying aptitude for handling technical processes and/or the ability to explain such processes to less-technical people
  • Formal experience in technical support (a bonus but not required)

Responsibilities include:

  • In-depth learning and understanding of our mobile and online banking products
  • Coordination with developers to investigate and diagnose issues
  • Documenting the constantly changing requests we receive for new feature development
  • Ability to manage a dynamic work load with many concurrent tasks
  • Managing, monitoring, and improving the quality of the tech support process

Responsibilities will evolve with your ability to contribute to our team, along with exposure to many more departments than being isolated in Technical Support.

Product Manager

Software Engineer

 

Industry leader in mobile technology seeks Software Engineer with great attitudes for our Berkeley, CA office. Must love challenging projects, creative solutions, and regular movie nights. Sound like you?

This position is full time in our Berkeley, California office at 727 Allston Way, Suite C, Berkeley, CA 94710. Not a remote position.

Responsibilities include:

Analyze, test, maintain, and monitor computer software products according to provided functional specification. Analyze user requirements to extend user functionality of software product with new features using provided library API and C++ language.  Program, document, and code Object model of the software product by the requirements specification.  Port software product to Unix operating system. Implement new features of Windows software product. Configure scripts using TCL and OpenVMS. Automate development supplementary routines including building, deploying, testing, configuring, and converting with creating scripts that can be scheduled and executed manually.


Requirements include:

  •  Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, or related field;
  • 1 year of experience as Software Programmer, or related occupation;
  • Experience with C++;
  • Experience with Object Oriented programming;
  • Experience with Unix and Windows;
  • Experience with TCL and Open VMS; and
  • Experience with Scripting Languages.
