As critical information is rendered more and more vulnerable by increased internet and wireless access, building and implementing secure solutions is crucial. Access Softek is a leading partner in the development and testing of security specific applications as well as in developing secure applications for our partners. Our expertise in technology-based data and application security spans wireless data transfer, biometrics, financial data encryption and storage, and the authentication and securing of gateways and devices in the field.

PROJECTS
With OmniSky, we developed a secure rules engine to automatically encrypt and forward Outlook emails to the proprietary mail server. Our client software ensured that email would only be downloaded and decrypted by the intended end users. This component was a part of the complete application development work we did for OnmiSky.

All of our financial applications and data transfer projects require rigorous security considerations. For our OFX Server and financial aggregation server, our engineers use the RSA BSAFE SSL-C library as well as a custom developed security library for creating secure applications. We have also worked with Ceritcom and SSLeahy Security Libraries to ensure high security standards.

Our work with Fortress Technologies is a good example of a cooperative development environment. Fortress sells hardware gateways that provide encryption and access control for wireless traffic. Access Softek is currently creating the next generation Management and Policy Server that will sit behind these gateways, as well as a new Java based client side administration tool to replace the older and simpler HTML based configuration process, that will also contain general SNMP network management capabilities. Other technologies used are soap, java, io completion ports, web services, ssl, wlls, aes encryption, etc. This system is highly scalable and robust and is designed for mission critical deployments.
